Programs

Ballet I is the first classical ballet technique class. Students begin learning the basics of ballet technique while practicing at the ballet barre and with center dance combinations. Students practice age-appropriate dance steps, listening skills, taking turns, counting music, all while making new friends along the way! During the Summer Ballet I Combo students focus on ballet technique along with other genres of dance which include jazz, tap, or lyrical styles. During the school year Ballet I is a ‘stand-alone’ class and often students elect to add-on the Jazz & Tap I class after getting a taste of it during the Summer session. Standard dress code. Black leotard (no skirt), pink tights & pink leather ballet slippers. Hair in a bun.
